Entertaining evening
We always enjoy Mr. Sedaris and this was no exception. He chose to read new, unreleased material for the most part and that perhaps helped to make the reading have a bit more energy than others I have been to. He was a bit more off color than I had experienced with him in the past with several explicit sexual references and some cursing. We did not find it off putting; it was just different than the previous events with him that we attended. It also did not appear the audience had any issues with it, however, it may be worth noting if such is not your preference or your group would include those persons for which such things may be inappropriate. I am not totally up to date on his more recent books, so this may be in line with that material and to be expected.
